#beauty20 Awards London / Los Angeles celebration is around the corner, thank you all for participation! We have collected the nominations and have found some interesting statistics: about 23% of votes came from brands, 10% from agencies, and 67% from consumers/bloggers. Brands have started becoming more active than the last few years.
Most popular categories include Best Beauty Startup, Instagram and eCommerce website. Interestingly, a number of nominations for Best Beauty Brand Online is not the most popular category, which perhaps shows that not all brands are searching for omnichannel perfection.
So which categories are behind? Pinterest and Mobile. And the most successful way to attract the customers on mobile now is by using augmented reality and gamification to explain new product categories and techniques.
